Help, something's wrong with my Worms!

My Worm Farm is smelly

Problem: Too much food, wrong food or the pieces are too large.

Solutions: Remove excess food. Feed less until the worm population increases. Break up large pieces of food. Check for incorrect food.

My Worm Farm is attracting Fruit Flies

Problem: Sometimes an issue over the summer months. Fruit flies are attracted to the fruit in your worm farm.

Solutions: Lightly cover food with a layer of bedding and/or cover with damp newspaper.

Ants are infesting my Farm

Problem: Farm is too dry or too acidic.

Solution: Add water. Add Garden lime to neutralise pH.

Worms climbing out of my Worm Farm

Problem: Too wet or bedding anaerobic.

Solution: Add shredded paper. Gently fold through bedding. Add garden lime.
