Hi,  we are Karen and Boyd Turner, owners of Wairau Worms.

After noticing plenty of interest from people looking for Worms for composting we purchased 25 kilograms of worms from a North Island company, to start Wairau Worms on our 27 hectare block in the Wairau Valley. That was back in 2007.

With great awareness of recycling, we have found people becoming more interested in worms and composting, with gardening enthusiasts snapping up worms at the Blenheim Farmers Market.
